Critical limb ischemia (CLI) represents the most severe clinical manifestation of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and is the major cause of ischemic amputation in the United States. Risk factors and the associated incidence and prevalence of CLI have not been well described in the
general population. Care remains disparate across medical specialties in this rapidly evolving field. Many challenges persist, including appropriate reimbursement for treating complex patients with difficult anatomy. Come discuss the advances being made in Limb preservation!

 In the Weeds:  Delving into the Complexities of Medical Marijuana

This conference will provide participants with a comprehensive presentation of the scientific facts regarding medical marijuana use, from a dispassionate, evidence based perspective. This presentation will provide the most current information on therapeutic indications, pharmacology and mechanism of action, acute and chronic side effects, and contraindications for medical marijuana use. These workshops are designed for human service professionals including: social workers, case workers, family therapists, mental health counselors, psychologists, nurses, marriage and family therapists, and nursing home administrators.

Identify potential causes, manifestations and negative impacts that can result from conflict.  Describe skills that can be used to resolve conflict effectively.  And, apply skills to resolve conflicts while displaying respect for others and preserving relationships.
